Job Summary and Description
Develop programs and processes that provide a service to industry, business, students, and/or other external/internal clients.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent, or two years of work experience conducting training can be substituted for a degree on year for year basis plus a certificate indicating formalized training in one of the training discipline areas or experience demonstrating proficiency equivalent to pertinent certificate. Certificate must be equivalent to one year of classroom
and/or on the job training. - Five years of experience conducting training in addition to any used to satisfy the education
requirement stated above.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, OR two years of work experience conducting training can be substituted for a degree on year for year basis PLUS a certificate indicating formalized training in one of the training discipline areas or experience demonstrating proficiency equivalent to pertinent certificate. Certificate must be equivalent to 1 year of classroom and/or on the job training.
- Five (5) years of experience conducting training in addition to any used to satisfy the education requirement stated above.
- Experience in Electronic or Mechanical Technology preferred and familiar with basic electronics tools (DMM, power suppliers, oscilloscopes).
- Knowledge of PLC and robotics is strongly preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Prefer a valid Texas driver license and ability to be insured by the organization’s insurers.
