About this opportunity:
Burris Laboratory School is seeking part-time, temporary athletic coaches to support and mentor students on various teams. Hours will include evenings and some weekends.
Compensation is determined by specific role and responsibilities.
Candidates for this position must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What you’ll do and what you’ll bring:
Position function: Provide coaching and training to student athletes.
Minimum Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of applicable sport

Must be able to effectively communicate to students, parents, officials, school administration.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Coaching and Training: Develop and implement training programs

Student Development: Help students establish personal and team goals.

Game Management: Plan game strategies, select players

Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for athletes, adhere to all school and safety standards, complete required safety training and implement necessary.

Promote sportsmanship among athletes.

Administrative Tasks: record keeping and reporting to school administrators and athletic director.
