Sutton Bonington Campus (Near Loughborough)
This role is an opportunity for an early career applicant or someone with experience who would like to work in a busy farm environment.
You will join a young dynamic team and assist primarily in the Youngstock Rearing, but also with the Dairy (robot milked), Sheep and Arable enterprises throughout the year.
The role is predominantly hands-on animal welfare with some machinery-based work.
The role requires confidence with livestock, ability to operate modern machinery, team working skills and an ability to follow farm procedures. Training can be provided in some of these areas and a willingness to learn and adhere to our high standards of animal care is most important.

This post will work a minimum 36.25 hours per week plus regular overtime paid at x 1.5 rate for any hours worked over 36.25 per week and at x 2 rate for bank holidays and university closure days. Hours worked by rota averaging 5 days out of 7 including early mornings, some evenings and regular weekends. The current rota is 10 days on 4 days off, with the four days off being alternate Friday to Monday. Job share arrangements may be considered.
