Job Overview
The DEI Coordinator will work remotely to develop and implement strategies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization and outreach efforts. This part-time role requires a proactive, creative individual who can work independently and contribute to building a respectful and representative culture.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement DEI initiatives to support an inclusive organizational culture.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate DEI principles into policies, communications, and community engagement.
- Develop training materials and resources to educate staff and volunteers on DEI best practices.
- Monitor and report on DEI progress, providing actionable insights to improve inclusivity.
- Engage with diverse communities to ensure our initiatives reflect varied perspectives.
- Stay updated on DEI trends and adapt strategies to align with organizational goals.
- Proven experience in DEI, community outreach, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and their application.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work remotely and independently.
- Ability to create engaging training materials and facilitate discussions on sensitive topics.

- Must have reliable internet access and proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

- Experience working with political or advocacy organizations.
- Familiarity with remote project management and virtual team coordination.

- Fully remote position with flexible scheduling, requiring approximately 5 hours per week.
- Regular check-ins with the leadership team via virtual meetings.
