We are looking for a high quality individual to support the development of a strategy and action plan for equality, diversity and inclusion issues across Corporate Services Group, ensuring that all work undertaken is processed efficiently, completely and delivered within the required timescales.
The role will include liaising with colleagues across the University of Edinburgh’s Corporate Services Group to promote equality, diversity and inclusion in policy and practice. The role will also research and identify good practice across the Higher Education sector which can be replicated at the University of Edinburgh, and develop and implement communication plans to raise awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion issues.
Your Skills and Attributes for Success:
- In depth understanding and experience of equality, diversity and inclusions issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders from a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to multi-task and cope with a varied workload, and to deliver accurate and high-quality work in a timely manner and often to strict deadlines.
- Clear willingness and enthusiasm to embrace change and help lead innovative approaches to promote equality, diversity and inclusion issues across policy and practice.
