Salary: Grade 7: £33,309 – £40,927 per annum

We seek a talented Project Manager to join our Technology-Assisted Lifelong Learning (TALL) unit to coordinate the production of high-quality online courses.

Working at the heart of the team, you will be responsible for scheduling the production of new online courses and updates to the Department’s existing portfolio of online courses. As well as managing your own portfolio of projects, you will be responsible for supervising the work or the team’s three digital learning project officers and maintaining a master project plan to ensure that the team’s projects are scheduled to maximise use of available resources. You will also actively contribute to evolving online course production systems and processes, ensuring that project management tools and documentation are kept up-to-date to reflect changes in working practices.

You will be intellectually curious and possess significant practical project management experience, and be able to demonstrate a proven record of delivering projects both on time and within budget. You will have experience of allocating staff resources across multiple projects, supervising the work of others, and be an effective manager of a small team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital for the role, as is a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service. You will enjoy working in a deadline-driven environment and will thrive on being involved in creating innovative learning products.

This role is based in Oxford. Remote working is negotiable, but you must be able to work on-site on a regular basis. The role includes 38 days’ leave (pro rata), inclusive of Bank Holidays and Departmental closure days, pension and excellent benefits.
