Position Description
Provide
office services by implementing administrative systems, and procedures. Monitors administrative projects for faculty and staff in the
assigned academic area.

Major/Essential Functions


  • Provide comprehensive undergraduate student support, including
    first-line student contact, maintaining and updating student records, processing grade changes, and documenting any changes in student
    academic status.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for students seeking assistance with questions, concerns, or issues, providing
    guidance and support or directing them to the appropriate resources or personnel as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the Dean’s
    Office and other university departments to support undergraduate academic advising initiatives and policy alignment.
  • Manage all
    undergraduate student override and permitting requests.
  • Conduct senior audits to ensure students meet graduation
    requirements.
  • Organize and coordinate Red Raider Orientation (RRO) sessions, including planning logistics, preparing materials, and
    ensuring effective student participation.
  • Send academic advising notifications and coordinate outgoing communications related to
    registration, deadlines, academic policies, and upcoming advising sessions with coordination from the department Advisor.
  • Manage the
    scheduling of all academic advising appointments, ensuring advisors’ calendars are efficiently utilized and students have timely access to
    advising resources.
  • Manage undergraduate student internship and study abroad program.
  • Manage undergraduate related functions
    such as welcoming new students or organizing quiz bowl or other competitive academic club activities.

Required
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education
and/or experience to equal five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with student information systems (e.g.,
    Raider Success Hub, Banner, DegreeWorks, Advisor Dashboard).
  • Familiarity with undergraduate academic policies and graduation
    audits.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student success and support services.
