Position Details:
The Opportunity: As the Administrative Services Operations Specialist you will provide executive-level administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Presidential Units, managing budgets, supervising hourly staff, and handling confidential matters with professionalism and discretion. Under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services, you will ensure that financial and administrative practices align with strategic objectives and serve as a key liaison between the President’s Office and administrative leadership to support effective communication and organizational coordination.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4,508.70 – $5,640 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible management work experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Experience working in an environment requiring confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience working within a high-level administrative unit.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Familiarity with Washington State University operations, policies, and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and technical skills and abilities with computers and video conferencing equipment.
- Knowledge of or experience with Workday.
