Position
Summary

Under direct supervision, assists in preparing all necessary foods required for lunch, dinner and banquet
service


Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures the proper set up and maintenance of prep area stations assigned to.
  • Labels, rotates and stores food products prepared.
  • Troubleshoots customer service or food preparation issues and escalates
    as needed.
  • Ensures that facilities and equipment are in optimal and proper working condition. Coordinates preventative maintenance
    and repairs as needed. May perform minor repairs if qualified and as needed. May advise on upgrades for performance enhancements.


Education

  • High school diploma or GED

Experience
Approximately 2 years of related experience,
including work in a hot line positionKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work within an organization
    emphasizing teamwork, respect, and excellence.

Licenses and Certifications


  • Food Protection Certificate, issued by
    the Department of Health

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Standard industrial kitchen environment; This position
requires full mobility and the ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
