POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Director for Recruitment and
Admissions (ADRA) is housed in the School of Business’s Eugene P. Beard Center for Student Success (CSS) and reports to the Senior Director
for Recruitment & Admissions. The CSS prioritizes the customer experience by providing a smooth transition from applicant to student to
placement. Consequently, as an integral member of the CSS, the ADRA addresses the entire student life cycle, primarily by recruiting new
graduate students into our specialized master’s degree and certificate programs, playing a supportive role in supporting MBA and
undergraduate program recruitment and working with the School’s admission team to create, organize and implement front-line actions and
activities (such as marketing, recruitment and communication strategies) designed to attract high quality applicants to the School. The ADRA
also works closely with our student success coaches by providing detailed deposited student data to allow for a seamless transition designed
to enhance the customer experience. The ADRA has primary responsibility for effectively maintaining and managing the CRM system to ensure
that quantitative and qualitative goals are achieved. As such, the ADRA continually reviews data analytics to make suggestions for
improvement.



To fulfill the responsibilities of the position, collaboration is required with key leaders and staff professionals in
the School (e.g., Dean, Senior Associate Dean, department chairs, center directors, MARCOM, Corporate Relations & Community Partnerships,
student success coaches, faculty, etc.) as well as with other units across campus [EMG], Division of Marketing and Communications [DMC],
Center for Global Engagement [CGE] etc.).

The successful candidate will be evaluated based on their ability to meet established
goals and through feedback from appropriate constituencies. Work will be reviewed through regularly scheduled meetings, reports, analysis,
and observation of results.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ADRA’s work primarily falls
into three broad categories related 1) recruitment and admission; and 2) CRM operations and 3) data reporting and analytics in addition to
some general administrative duties.

Recruitment and Admission


In consultation with the Senior Director for Recruitment &
Admissions, Senior Associate Dean, EMG and MARCOM, help develop, articulate, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive strategic
enrollment/recruitment plan that addresses program targets, university-wide enrollment goals, and financial planning by employing data
analysis, evaluating enrollment trends, and assessing recruitment activities.

Works with the Senior Director for Recruitment &
Admissions and the School’s MARCOM office to develop annual marketing plans and recruitment materials for all programs.


Collaborates
with the Senior Director for Recruitment & Admissions to develop communication plans and one-off communications to move applicants through
the enrollment funnel.

Works with the Director of Corporate Relations & Community Partnerships, Faculty, Advisory Councils, and
Center Directors to identify, develop and nurture relationships with partner companies and professional organizations for MS and certificate
program recruitment.


Participates in the planning and implementation of recruitment events such as graduate school fairs, information
sessions, webinars, coffee chats, etc. and other School-sponsored admission related events, as well as individual and group meetings with
prospective students.

Attends and participates in the School’s recruiting and internal events, including evening and weekend
events.


Coordinates with the Senior Director for Recruitment & Admissions and EMG to represent the School at external recruitment
events, fairs, and meetings.

Refines purchased prospect data for all graduate business programs with GMAC (GMAT test takers) and ETS
(GRE and TOEFL test takers); Map purchased GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL contacts and import into the CRM.


Maintains engagement and follow-up
communications with prospective, accepted and enrolled candidates to increase application completion, drive deposits and prevent melt,
respectively at each stage of the enrollment funnel.

Serves on the admissions committee for master’s programs.


Reviews
graduate student transcripts for appropriate course equivalencies for advanced standing.

Enters graduate transfer credit into Banner
to allow student success coaches to develop plans of study.


Provides detailed deposited student information to assist success coaches
in advising new students.

Participates in and supports career-related activities, including various networking events, company
visits, and career fairs in order to effectively discuss career opportunities with prospective students.


Manages the Graduate Student
Ambassador program, including recruiting student ambassadors, connecting them with opportunities to assist with recruiting efforts, and
managing/tracking their efforts.

Acts as a liaison regarding graduate admission and recruitment activities to EMG, the Center for
Global Engagement (CGE), and other University departments and internal offices within the School as needed.


Works with Senior
Director for Recruitment & Admissions and MARCOM to ensure that graduate program webpages are current and achieving desired
results.

Participates in the development of dual degrees and articulation agreements with other schools and institutions.



CRM
Operations:

Collaborates with the Senior Director for Recruitment & Admissions and EMG to ensure effective and efficient CRM
processes and operation.


Implements communication plans and campaigns in the CRM for all graduate business programs with guidance
from the Senior Director for Recruitment & Admissions.

Designs forms and events in the CRM.


Serves as point of contact with
EMG to ensure the functionality of the CRM.

Monitor efficiency of procedures; recommend and implement suggestions for
improvement.


Provide detailed deposited student information to assist success coaches in advising new students

Data Analytics
and Reporting.


Creates and runs weekly reports for all graduate business programs in the CRM and Cognos; cross reference the data to
ensure that the information is correct and current; report information to Senior Director for Admissions and Recruiting.

Analyzes
data to make recommendations about recruitment strategies.


Monitor analytics of email communications; report performance of messages
to Senior Director for Admissions and Recruiting; make suggestions for improvement.

In collaboration with the Senior Director for
Recruitment and Admissions, complete AACSB surveys, rankings and other reports.


Performs and communicates results of analyses
requested by School leadership; provide monthly updates regarding strategies and tracking enrollment quotas to the Senior Director and
Senior Associate Dean.

General Administrative Duties


Back-up the Senior Director for Recruitment &Admissions and the Program
Director for Recruitment and Student Success as needed.

Manages graduate assistantship award offers with respect to
budget.


Communicates financial awards to the School’s Business Office, Office of Financial Aid and Student Accounts.

Creates
Graduate Assistant contracts.


Participate in Advisory Council meetings as requested.

Other activities as assigned to
accomplish the goals of the CSS and the School.



REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum
qualifications:


A bachelor’s degree in business or closely related field from an accredited institution.

At least 3
years of successful experience in higher education student recruitment, enrollment management and/or sales/marketing.


Knowledgeable
about recruitment and enrollment principles.

Possesses a valid driver’s license and passport.


Preferred
qualifications:

An MBA or a master’s degree in business or a closely related area from an accredited
institution
Experience developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans


Experience in event planning

Experience with customer relations management systems (CRMs) such as Slate or other CRM software.

Experience
utilizing digital and other forms of marketing to support recruitment.


Can effectively coordinate and implement in-person and virtual
recruitment sessions.

Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with diverse groups of students.


Ability
to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students (current and prospective), faculty, administrators, and others in
the University community.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.


Excellent customer service and problem-solving
skills, ability to think strategically.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.


Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, energetic and
