The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire
University’s traditional campus in Manchester, NH is hiring a full-time Athletic Trainer. SNHU is an NCAA Division II institution and a
member of the Northeast 10 Conference. You will report to the Head Athletic Trainer and help provide daily medical coverage to assigned
sports along with injury prevention, recognition, treatment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of accurate records of injuries. This position
is located onsite and is a 10 month annual position.



What you’ll do:

  • Help provide daily medical coverage
    to assigned sports
  • Injury prevention, recognition, treatment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of accurate records of
    injuries
  • Communicate daily with our coaches and student athletes along with ensuring the safety of patients and staff by enforcing
    OSHA policies and safety procedures
  • Maintain strict adherence to our established University athletic training procedures is
    expected
  • Travel with our athletic teams will be required
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. Job responsibilities can change
    at any time, with or without notice.

What we’re looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active NH
    Athletic Training license
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid that aligns with NH athletic training licensing
    standards
  • 1+ years of working experience in an athletic training program with knowledge and skill in:
    • Therapeutic modalities
      and administering therapeutic/preventative exercise protocols
    • The application of multiple preventable adhesive strapping
      techniques
    • Developing rehabilitation programs for multiple common athletic injuries
    • Performing systemic evaluation of
      athletic injuries
    • Injury tracking using online electronic medial record (EMR)

  • Previous experience working with
    both male and female athletic teams
  • Certified member of the NATA in good standing


This position follows an
academic calendar and is active for 10 months out of the year, from August 15th to June 15th. The salary range listed in the compensation
section below will be prorated based on a 10-month work year. This prorated range is $43,181.67-$58,422.50.

Compensation



The annual pay range for this position is $46,894.00 – $75,045.00. Actual offer will be based on skills,
qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the
following target hiring range $51,818.00 – $70,107.00.
