Organizational Unit Overview:

Job Duties:

• Provide on-field care during club sport games, tournaments, events, and competitions
• Assess, treat, and manage both acute and chronic injuries for club sport athletes
• Deliver immediate and emergency care as needed
• Administer first aid and injury evaluations
• Apply preventative and post-injury taping and bracing
• Evaluate venue safety and activate the Emergency Action Plan or Lightning Plan when necessary

Minimum Education/Experience:

• Athletic Training board certified
• Licensed in NC to practice AT by the time of start date
• Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid or BLS
• Ability to understand and communicate medical terminology with patients, parents, coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation:

Athletic Training board certified
