 Job Summary

Assist with promotion and sponsorship of Aggie Athletics

Responsibilities

• Work with Campus Communications and Athletics Communication on marketing
• Assist with marketing, promotions, and
  sponsorships for Aggie Athletics
• Work with local media outlets for promotions
• Serve as a media contact for sports
  assigned by AD.
• Serve as official statistician at various sporting events.
• Editing and printing game programs.
• Maintaining and updating the athletics web site (opsuaggies.com) and social media channels.
• Assisting with the production of video
  web casts, historical research, writing press releases and publishing feature stories (video and written).
• Assist with management
  of student workers, game day tables, and press box crews.
• Assist with set up of game day equipment.
• Assist in preparing
  game notes/programs, team media guides, and team photos.
• Help coordinate and supervise video stream of home contests and social
  media outlets associated with athletics.
• Help coordinate coaches shows and post-game interviews.
• Available to work
  weekends, evenings, and potential holidays as dictated by the university’s sports’ schedules.
• Must be able to lift more than
  50-lb. objects; frequent bending, stooping, and walking.
• Ability to work various hours, including nights and weekends throughout
  the year for practice, games and recruiting.
• Be able to transport team to the contests, and be responsible for their
  well-being.
• Could be exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned by the or his/her
  designee

Qualifications

• EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of athletic contests
• Sponsorship and/or advertising sales experience.
