Job Description
Description of Job Duty:
Manage and support the university’s job and employer enterprise system. This includes the daily monitoring of job postings, career events, employer and student registrations, problem solving system and user issues, managing system communications, and coordinating updates and maintenance., Serves as lead job fair coordinator by managing employer registrations and relationships. This includes configuring and marketing registration for events and creating employer and student communication plans to ensure a “best in class” job fair experience. Works closely with campus support personnel, administrators, and Deans to plan, reserve spaces, and coordinate large scale events., Counseling students one-on-one, group settings, and via workshops (online or in-person) in all aspects of their professional development, including clarification of career goals, providing current information on specific career fields and employment trends, developing effective documents (e.g. resumes, cover letters) and advising on conducting effective employment searches., Retrieve job and employer enterprise system data to assist with preparing annual and ad-hoc reports for the department, colleges, and university. Analyze data and trends to lead student career readiness initiatives and job outlook awareness for academic programs. Assist with preparing annual institutional reports and information., Manages aspects of departmental website, supports day-to-day operations, and assists with other programs/events hosted by the Center for Career Development.

Physical Demands:
Those typical of an office environment.
Work Hours:
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional hours if/when needed.

Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience. Level P3, Grade 9.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Education, or related field of study. Four years of related work experience. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Experience and comfort with technology, customer relationship management systems (CRMs), recruiting software and database management. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills. Excellent organizational and project planning and management skills. Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude during periods of high volume and intensity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Higher Education, Communication, Leadership, Human Resources, or related field of study. Experience working in higher education with college students. Experience with Career Development CRM’s such as Handshake. Demonstrates knowledge of National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Professional Competencies for students. Relational database knowledge and report building skills. Knowledge of theoretical foundations of career development and experience within a higher education environment. Experience coordinating and planning large-scale events.
