Job Description

The University of
Missouri Athletics Department is seeking a Compliance Coordinator.

Reporting to the Associate Athletics Director of Compliance, this
position will provide department leadership, coordination and assistance on issues related to athletic compliance with rules and regulations
related to the assigned program.


Key responsibilities may include:

Awards & Benefits


  • Manage Travel and Vacation Per
    Diem Card Requests
  • Manage RedCard Rosters and Access
  • Coordinate Approval Process and Monitor Camps and Clinics and any
    ‘Affiliated’ Club Teams
  • Coordinate Student-Athlete Complimentary Tickets
  • Coordinate Facility Approval Process and
    Related Rules Education for External Entities
  • Review and Monitor of Student-Athlete Awards


Eligibility

  • Manage
    Student-Athlete Eligibility for Practice & Competition
  • Maintain Squad Lists and Certification with Certification Officer and
    Registrar
  • Serve as Liaison with MU Admissions
  • Perform Prospective Student-Athlete Transcript Evaluations
  • Monitor Team Travel and Travel Size Limits
  • Assist with NCAA Transfer Portal & Transfer Exit interviews
  • Monitor
    Academic Performance Rates and Graduation Rates

Financial Aid & Scholarships


  • Coordinate Athletics Aid Agreements and
    Recruit Signing
  • Maintain Financial Aid Records in Teamworks
  • Monitor Student-Athlete Meals
  • Monitor and
    Approve Required Course Supply Purchases for Student-Athletes
  • Document Outside Scholarships


Personnel

  • Engage in
    SEC Pre-Employment Reviews
  • Facilitate Compliance Onboarding
  • Coordinate Coaching and Sport Staff Designations
  • Coordinate Outside Income/Conflict of Interest Reporting
  • Manage Staff Access to Teamworks and NCAA Apps

Playing &
Practice


  • Coordinate Playing and Practice Seasons Declarations
  • Coordinate Time Management Plans and End of Season Reviews
  • Monitor and Analyze Practice Logs
  • Monitor Individual and Team Competition Limits
  • Coordinate Schedule
    Approval Process
  • Coordinate Participation Reports
  • Facilitate Student-Athlete Outside Competition Requests


Recruiting

  • Monitor and Analyze Official Visit Documentation
  • Monitor and Analyze Unofficial Visit Documentation
  • Monitor Recruiting Travel, Contacts and Evaluations
  • Manage and Monitor Phone Record Uploads into Teamworks
  • Draft and Disseminate Monthly Recruiting Reminders
  • Coordinate and Monitor Complimentary Tickets for PSAs/PSA Coaches
  • Coordinate and Monitor On-Campus Evaluations

Other Responsibilities


  • Assist with Roster Management
  • Coordinate
    Student-Athlete Annual Form Completion and Review
  • Assist with Agent Registration and Monitoring
  • Assist with NIL
    Disclosure and other Related Tasks
  • Assist with Educational Efforts
  • Assist in Secondary and Major
    Investigations/Infractions and Reporting
  • Assist in Interpretative Process
  • Assist with Waivers
  • Assist with
    Other Duties as Assigned


Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as
required.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary


Preferred
Qualifications

Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations


Anticipated Hiring Range



Salary Range:
$23.00 – $25.00 / hour
