Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Cook C for Dining Services.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
* Assists in the overall cooking operations of a unit.
* Assists in guiding and instructing cooks helpers, grill attendant, and Dining Service Worker B in the performance of a variety of food items following standardized procedures and schedule.

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school/vocational school education or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• One year of varied cooking experience in large volume institutional or restaurant setting.

Certifications/Licenses

• Ability to pass the Food Handler’s Certification.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production work sheets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent customer services skills and line cooking experience.

• Shift hours/Schedule: TBD.
