WHAT WILL YOU
DO:
This position oversees food quality and organization of stations. Assists on stations, prepares and follows daily prep
sheets and recipes according to Chefs/FoodPro, monitors product on lines. Maintains a high degree of pace and intensity for long periods of
time and strong time awareness and management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintains and ensures
staff utilizes LeanPath; advanced knife and safety skills. - Tests new recipes and recipe corrections. Submits to correct staff
member. - Ensures FoodPro service records are thoroughly accurate and completed.
- Utilizes FIFO inventory practices, correct
product labeling, and storage guidelines. - Inspects and assists in maintaining food storage areas to reduce food waste and makes sure
areas are in compliance with health code guidelines. - Reports to proper staff member equipment concerns; assists in
ordering. - Extensive knowledge of facility, FoodPro, LeanPath, equipment, and policies in order to cross train staff. Participates
and supports effective training program in accordance with the mission and vision of the department. - Participates in departmental
menu committee and ongoing development of menu. - Excels in teamwork. Adheres to set guidelines, policies, and time
schedules. - Ensures the success of the next shift by completing prep and refilling lines before the next shift takes over; assists in
other areas as requested. - Works stations with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Responsible for the proper training of staff per
guidelines. - Reviews station checklists, side duties, and special clean ups are completed as assigned and to the expectation of the
department. - Ensures food quality and safety requirements are met in accordance to all standards.
- Continuous training and
development for team and self. - Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma
or equivalent with three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred
Requirements:
- Previous higher education foodservice experience.
- ServSafe certified.
- Physical Requirements:
Extended standing, walking, ability to bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders. - Ability to work in all temperature
conditions. - Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
