Florida A&M
University’s Office of the Provost is pleased to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the Coordinator, Administrative
Services vacancy.

Responsibilities


The
incumbent in this position will provide administrative support to the Associate Provost and programmatic and organizational support to the
Office of the Provost. The incumbent will attend to a variety of administrative details, including maintaining administrative, procedural,
and operational processes. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Represent the Associate Provost in
matters as authorized; Monitor and follow through on any issues that come up, as appropriate; Interact with faculty, students, parents, and
staff by answering inquiries or directing them to proper campus partners for resolution; Handle travel arrangements, including preparation
of travel authorization requests, cash advance forms, and expense reports for staff; Disseminate information by using the telephone, mail
services, and e-mail; Provide administrative functions such as purchasing, personnel, and other major office functions; Prepare
correspondence, reports, and forms from drafts or brief instructions, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations; Maintain calendar for
Associate Provosts to include scheduling meetings and conferences; Organize, maintain, and secure documents/files, both physical and
electronic; Manage special projects such as commencement, Faculty Grant program, Tenure and Promotion, Sabbatical and Professional
Development Leave application processes, and retention, progression, and graduation initiatives; and, other duties as
assigned.


Minimum
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience; or
master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization.

Demonstrated ability to work in rapidly changing

Ability to communicate (oral and written) in a clear, concise, and professional manner with the campus

representatives of public and private organizations;


Ability to manage multiple tasks;
and,

Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Suite and
PeopleSoft).


Anticipated Salary
Range

Compensation for this role is based on education, experience, and demonstrated
skills.



Pay Plan

This is an Administrative
and Professional (A&P) position.


Conditions of
Employment

Successful candidate is subject to a pre-employment screening which includes a review of
criminal records, reference checks and verification of education. An official college transcript, a high school diploma, or other
educational documents must be submitted, where applicable, at the time of employment.
