Required
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Two (2) years of related
experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, and oversees programs, activities, and
projects for area of assignment. - Gathers and maintains information to support periodic and special reports documenting activities
and events for assigned area and identifying problem areas. Maintains record system; processes daily paperwork including reports, memos, and
requisitions. - Assists in troubleshooting technology equipment and providing solutions to complex computer hardware, software, and
network issues. - Supervises staff, including selecting or recommending selection, training, assigning, and evaluating work,
counseling, disciplining, and terminating or recommending termination; ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Develops and implements policies and procedures for area of responsibility.
- Attends staff and other professional meetings
to exchange information. - Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by the President on their
designee.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal
and leadership skills. - Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work in a multi-task environment.
- Must be skilled in
customer service, scheduling, and record keeping. - Must have knowledge of hardware, software operating systems, and ERP programs such
as PeopleSoft. - The ability to work independently with special projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate
effectively, both orally and in writing, and be flexible to meet the demands of the College.
