Description
The Marketing Coordinator is a key execution-focused member of
the Communications and Marketing team, responsible for implementing marketing strategies that support enrollment, recruitment, and
institutional visibility. This role emphasizes excellent writing, social media execution, cross-department collaboration,
and brand consistency, while also providing graphic design and creative support as part of an integrated marketing
function.
Working closely with the Vice President of Communication and Chief Marketing Officer, the Associate Vice President of
Communications, and the Admissions team, the Marketing Coordinator translate strategy into action-developing content, coordinating
campaigns, managing workflows, and ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with institutional priorities.
Examples of Duties
Marketing & Content Execution:
- Execute
marketing strategies and campaigns that support enrollment and institutional goals, with guidance from Communications
leadership - Write primary copy for marketing materials across channels, including web content, email campaigns,
social media, digital advertising, and print collateral - Adapt tone and messaging by audience, including prospective students,
families, academic audiences, and campus stakeholders - Collaborate with Admissions and Communications to develop compelling messaging
that resonates with target audiences - Assist in campaign planning by proposing content ideas and messaging approaches, while focusing
primarily on execution
Social Media Management & Performance Reporting:
- Collaborate with the Associate
Vice President of Communications to write, publish, and manage institutional social media content - Execute social media content
calendars and campaigns, with support and coordination from the broader communications team - Monitor, analyze, and report on social
media performance and engagement metrics, using insights to refine execution and improve outcomes - Stay informed on social media best
practices and platform trends relevant to enrollment marketing
Brand Stewardship & Visual
Standards:
- Ensure all marketing content adheres to established brand guidelines, including appropriate use of logos, fonts,
colors, and visual standards - Write and edit content within the College’s established brand voice, ensuring clarity, consistency, and
professionalism across channels - Support other departments in determining appropriate branding for their materials and
initiatives - Ensure consistency of messaging and visual identity across digital and print platforms
Graphic Design
& Creative Support:
- Develop graphic designs supporting branded digital and printed materials, including posters, flyers,
digital signage, web graphics, and social media assets - Assist with layout, creative development, and production of marketing
materials in coordination with Communications leadership - Assist with photography and videography projects; video editing experience
is a plus - Take photographs and video of campus events and general campus life as needed
- Assist with website updates in
coordination with the web development team - Maintain, organize, and archive visual assets
Coordination, Workflow
& Collaboration:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing requests and working within established
timelines and approval processes - Coordinate with internal departments-primarily Communications and Admissions-to ensure marketing
efforts are aligned and executed efficiently - Assist with marketing and logistics with campus events including the Socratic
Stage - Work with external vendors as needed to support marketing and creative projects
- Participate in regular collaboration
and planning meetings with marketing partners - Support occasional evening or weekend work for events or recruitment activities as
needed
This role is execution-driven, with opportunities to grow strategic insight over time, but does not carry director-level
responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
