Description:
Responsible for managing all aspects of a complex large technical project (or multiple small projects) from initiation
to delivery. Ensures all targets are met on schedule and budget. Develops project charter, documents requirements, tracks deliverables and
milestones, conducts user testing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the continued implementation and optimization of
Slate CRM for both undergraduate and graduate admissions. - Build and manage complex workflows, rules, queries, forms, portals, and
communication campaigns to enhance admissions processes and user experiences. - Serve as the subject matter expert on Slate
functionality and best practices. - Collaborate with admissions stakeholders to translate business needs into functional CRM
solutions. - Support data integration efforts between Slate and PeopleSoft (SIS), ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and
integrity. - Develop and maintain user training materials and provide training sessions for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor
system performance and identify areas for enhancement or automation. - Stay informed on Slate updates and new features; assess
relevance and plan for implementation. - Work with institutional research and enrollment analytics teams to support reporting and data
needs. - Serve as liaison with Technolutions, attending Slate community events and participating in user groups.
- Troubleshoot
system issues and manage resolution in coordination with DoIT and/or vendor support. - Perform other duties as
assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Experience with Slate implementation and end-to-end admissions
lifecycle support. - Slate-certified (technically or functionally), or strong engagement in the Slate community (e.g., attending
Summit, regional user groups). - Demonstrated experience building and managing workflows, rules, and custom fields in
Slate. - Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management
skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with varying levels of technical expertise.
MINIMUM
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Higher Education Administration, Business, or related
field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Slate CRM administration or management.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &
ABILITIES:
- Experience with API, SFTP, or other data integration protocols.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as
FERPA and best practices in handling student data. - Prior experience in a higher education admissions or enrollment
setting. - Familiarity with PeopleSoft or other SIS systems, and experience with system integration projects.
- CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Will require periods of weekends and evenings hours.
