Description/Primary Purpose
The Data Warehouse Architect III is a strategic and technical role responsible for designing,
implementing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions. This position combines data engineering, database development, and data model design
responsibilities to deliver a robust, scalable, and governed data platform that supports advanced analytics and reporting.

Enterprise Data Architecture

Oversee enterprise data architecture, including medallion layers
(Bronze ? Silver ? Gold).

Define standards for semantic models and star schemas in gold
layers.

ETL/ELT Development
-
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to populate Bronze ? Silver ?
Gold layers. -
Implement transformations, incremental loads, and performance optimizations for
analytics.

Semantic Layer & BI Consistency
-
Build semantic layers that unify business logic, metrics,
and hierarchies.

Ensure consistency across BI tools and reporting platforms.

Data Modeling
-
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Translate business requirements into structured schemas for
reporting.

Governance & Quality
-
Enforce data quality, lineage, and compliance
standards.

Collaborate with governance teams to maintain metadata and security policies.

Advises higher management on current trends in information technology that affect the direction and scope of
online education systems.

Frequent and moderate level of internal business contact with personnel in functional areas for
the purpose of determining system functional requirements. -
Attends meetings of Information Technology Services staff;
utilizes staff resources when situations require additional expertise.

Assist in the preparation & delivery of workshops and
training programs. -
During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job-related duties
at a designated off campus location or place of residence.
Required Qualifications
Master’s and 4+ years of
relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
