Position Purpose
The Director of College Access and Educational Talent Search (ETS) will support and represent the college in its efforts to increase college access as the Director of Educational Talent Search. Acting as the Director of College Access, this individual is responsible for performing the overall leadership functions of the department and ensuring department cohesion. The role performs other related job duties or responsibilities as requested or required, whether or not specifically mentioned in the job description.
Qualifications – Education, Experience, and Skills
- Master’s degree in Educational Administration, Guidance, Counseling, Education, Student Personnel, Communication or related field from a regionally or nationally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation required
- Minimum three years’ experience of leadership in managing team to meet goals required
- Experience working with potential ETS eligible college students required
- Minimum three years’ experience working with admissions/financial aid procedures preferred
- Minimum three years’ experience in program administration and grant writing preferred
- Supervisory experience and knowledge of budget management preferred
- Experience in preparing and advising students in pursuing a college degree preferred
- Background similar to Project students preferred
