Youth programming brings children and adolescents to NDSU to spark interests, learn, and have fun.

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic coordinator for Dual Credit and Youth Programming to join our team and enhance our offerings. The coordinator for Dual Credit Programming and Youth Outreach will facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of dual credit programming and oversee youth programming initiatives at a high level. This role will collaborate with high schools, faculty, and administrative departments to ensure a seamless educational experience for students participating in these programs.



Description & Details:

Responsibilities:


* Coordinate course offerings, schedules, and logistics for dual credit classes.

* Manage tasks for dual credit instructors including contracts and course and instructor approval processes.


* Monitor student enrollment, performance, and program effectiveness.

* Provide support and guidance to students and families navigating dual credit options.


* Assist students with course enrollment in Campus Connection.

* Represent OTL at recruitment events and outreach activities to promote dual credit opportunities.


* Prepare reports and data analysis to inform program development and improvement.

* Cross train with the Office of Admissions to process dual credit applications.


* Communicate with high school representatives, students, and guardians to collect needed application materials.

* Support student completion of placement exams and evidence needed.


* Complete dual credit application processes in Campus Connection.

* Serve as a high-level resource and oversight contact for youth outreach events at NDSU.


* Maintain the event calendar, website, and resource kit for youth outreach.


Hiring Range:

$46,000-54,000 + DOE

Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.


Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree


Preferred Qualifications:

* Degree in education, educational leadership, or related field


* Experience in secondary or higher education, preferably in dual credit or similar programs

Core Competencies:


* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

* Proficiency in or ability to learn data management and reporting tools.
