Summary
Troy University is seeking a highly skilled Enrollment Management Scholarships and Data Analyst to join our
Enrollment Management Leadership team. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, the successful candidate will
support data-driven decision-making by interpreting, analyzing, and reporting on various data related to student recruitment and enrollment.
This position will collaborate closely with Enrollment Management leadership to optimize enrollment strategies and enhance the overall
student admissions/enrollment experience.
Key responsibilities:
* Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
* Develop
and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to monitor enrollment trends and performance metrics.
* Prepare detailed reports and
presentations for university stakeholders, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
* Conduct predictive modeling and
statistical analyses to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
* Assist in the design and implementation of data collection
processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Support ad hoc data requests and perform peer comparison studies to benchmark
performance.
* Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve data systems and ensure date integrity.
* Stay updated on
enrollment management trends, research, and best practices.
* The EM Analyst will also assist the Director of Scholarships with
scholarship applications, awarding, and renewals as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree
in data analytics or other related field .
2. Minimum of at least six months in a full-time analytics or other appropriate role at a
higher education institution.
3. Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools such as Excel, SPSS, Intrinsic
Informer, Tableau, R, or Python.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
5.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to various audiences.
6. Demonstrate
ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a related field or current enrollment in a graduate degree program
- Experience
with enrollment management data and familiarity with national datasets such as IPEDS and the National Student Clearinghouse. - Experience with database management and SQL.
- Experience with Ellucian products, particularly CRM Recruit and the Colleague
ERP.
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order
to perform the job duties?
Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
Work Hours: Monday –
Friday
8 am – 5 pm
Position will be based at the Troy campus in Troy, Alabama
