Overview of the Position:
To assist with
managing our live esports broadcasts, we are seeking a part-time Esports Broadcaster/Video Production Assistant. This position focuses on
managing and hosting Twitch streams for our competitive matches, including technical setup and live commentary. You’ll handle everything
from setting up the stream to commentating live on camera. The position emphasizes the broadcast and production aspects, focusing on live
streaming and technical management. Managing overlays and audio, switching scenes, running the live feeds, and resolving technical problems
as they arise are all your responsibilities. After events, you will record highlights or create quick review videos to showcase important
moments.



Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run live Twitch broadcasts for matches
  • Use OBS to manage
    scenes, overlays, and audio
  • Provide live commentary and appear on camera during broadcasts
  • Fix technical issues
    quickly during live streams
  • Clip and edit highlights or short recap videos after matches
  • Keep a consistent and
    professional broadcast style that represents our program well


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of live
    broadcasting
  • Comfortable or familiar with using OBS
  • Confident speaking live on camera and commentating matches
  • Fundamental abilities in video editing
  • Dependable, well-organized, and capable of working alone
  • Strong
    problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Interest in or experience with gaming and esports
  • Able to work in the
    evenings

Specifics:
This part-time position is $17 per hour and up to 20 hours per week, most weeks will
be less. You will receive a schedule based on match times at the beginning of the season, detailing your expected work hours. You will have
access to all necessary streaming equipment, including cameras, microphones, and software to perform your duties
effectively.
