Student Life.
The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the
position of Executive Assistant for Student Life. Saint Francis is a Catholic, Franciscan university in the liberal arts tradition. The
Executive Assistant for Student Life will report to Vice President for Catholic Culture and Student Life and will have responsibility over
the area of Student Life ensuring the university’s Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts remain at the
center of our educational mission and public identity. The Executive Assistant for Student Life is responsible for assisting the Vice
President for Catholic Culture and Student Life in advancing the university’s efforts in implementing the new mission statement and
strategic plan. This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Vice President for Catholic Culture and Student Life and
the Division of Student Life. This role serves as a key liaison between departments, supports high-level operations, and provides
exceptional service to students, employees, and visitors. The position blends administrative support, event coordination and logistical
support, and confidential support duties to advance student development, academic success, and related initiatives. The ideal candidate will
display a capacity to multitask and perform a variety of assignments requiring considerable exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
The ideal candidate will also show an ability to meet and effectively engage with students, parents, faculty, and staff. The new Executive
Assistant for Student Life is expected to begin serving no later than November 3rd, 2025.
