We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and
responsibilities.



Job Summary:

Lead the technology support teams, comprised of Networking, System Administration,
Telecommunications and Infrastructure Operations in delivering high quality technical infrastructure services to students, faculty, and
staff in a timely manner. This role will establish and refine the processes, techniques, tools, and methods used by technology
infrastructure teams to provide exceptional support and services to faculty, staff, and students.



Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Manage, build and develop a customer-focused team that encompasses
    infrastructure technology support function in accordance with district policies and procedures.

  • In collaboration with the
    Executive Director of Enterprise Technology Operations, adopt ITIL framework components to improve efficiency, reduce risks, and build
    customer trust by integrating IT with institutional goals, moving from reactive support to proactive service management.


  • Establish monitoring dashboards to proactively measuring key metrics to ensure high performing technology infrastructure for the
    entire college delivering superior performance and service.

  • Lead cross-functional teams across the Technology Services
    department to deliver wholistic solutions that support both institutional growth and regulatory compliance. Ensuring a solutions provider
    mentality while delivering a professional work environment.



  • Participate in College’s information security program and risk
    management initiatives.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in automating and optimizing infrastructure service delivery to
    provide customers with an efficient and effective time to resolution.


  • Guide the implementation, documentation, and update of
    new and existing policies, procedures and processes for IT systems.

  • Manage contracts and other business relationships with
    vendors regarding networking, cloud services, server and storage hardware and software.


  • Work collaboratively with the
    leadership of the college and others for long-range planning, staff needs assessments, training, and development.

  • Plan,
    design and implement short and long-term strategies and plans for assigned areas in support of institutional and department goals and
    strategic initiatives.


  • Formulate and recommend annual budget requests and assume responsibility for operating within the
    approved budget. Manage associated budget(s) including tracking expenditures, approving routine purchase requests, and developing annual
    budget plans.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Perform all
    duties to maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.



Knowledge, Skills,

  • Knowledge of enterprise data center infrastructure and cloud providers.
  • Knowledge and experience with
    campus & wide-area networking, Linux & Windows server platforms and telecommunication technologies.
  • Knowledge of laws related to
    personnel management

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up
to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg
controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is
rated Light Work. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions.
Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Occasional physical effort
required.



Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, network engineering, information technology
or related field from an accredited institution


Seven (7) years in senior information technology management with experience
supervising data center operations, network operations, cloud administration, or educational technology


Preferred

Ten
(10) years of experience

Master’s degree in a computer discipline from an accredited institution.


Licenses and
Certifications

Possess one or more of the following certifications:


  • Linux, Windows or Cloud
    Administration


  • ITIL Foundation

  • Cisco CCNA or CCNP

  • Certified Information Systems Security
    Professional (CISSP)

Compensation is determined based on experience.
