Position Description
Performs coordinative work
in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination of the various functions and
aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of equipment operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision
with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise, volunteers and student assistants.
Major/Essential
Functions
- Operate the laser cutters, troubleshooting student files as needed, preparing materials.
- Operate the 3D
printers, use associated software, and replace fiber/filament as needed. - Be knowledgeable about an architectural shop fabrication
capabilities and equipment and be able to demonstrate those to students. - Good communication skills with students and managing files
and expectations
Required Qualifications
High school graduation plus five years progressively responsible related
experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year for year basis.
