Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Facilities & Grounds Coordinator reports directly to
the Associate Athletic Director, Facilities & Event Management. The position serves as the primary point-of-contact for all Athletics
grounds/landscape and turf management, and the position oversees select athletic facilities and serves as the primary and/or secondary
game/event manager for assigned intercollegiate athletic contests. Moreover, the position oversees the day-to-day management of all turf
maintenance, grooming, repairs, etc. and manages partnerships with applicable vendors and contractors related to the beautification of
athletic facilities. The position is also responsible for event setup and breakdown as well as the day-to-day facility maintenance of
assigned facilities; including but not limited to maintenance, grounds, landscaping, IT, network/televisions, custodial,
concessions/catering, etc. The position will assist with the execution of assigned intercollegiate athletic contests as well as third-party
special events/rentals.

compliance seminars and complies with all the athletic department’s efforts to monitor compliance with NCAA regulations. Seeks
interpretations from the compliance staff before acting when necessary. Reports potential rules violations immediately. Completes required
compliance paperwork in a timely and efficient manner. Monitors all their areas and/or programs activities closely to maintain compliance
with applicable rules and regulations.

Required Education and/or Experience:
- High School
Diploma or Equivalent - High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or Closely-Related Field
- Previous experience in Ground/Landscaping & Turf
Management - Previous Experience at the NCAA DI Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or

Compensation Information
This position is classified as “non-exempt, hourly” and is assigned to pay grade 20. Tulane
