This Facilities/Campus
Realty Assistant assists the Facilities Department with scheduling, record keeping, billing, purchase orders, task orders, budget
preparation and payment tracking to vendors. This position also assists the Campus Realty Department with all real estate related
responsibilities including showing of apartments, preparing leases, accepting and registering rent payments and assisting with annual income
certifications for section 8 tenants.
Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

- Provides various administrative services for the Facilities and Campus Realty Departments.
- Answers phone inquiries and
routes calls and maintenance requests. - Prepares meeting agendas, schedules meetings and maintains minutes for weekly Facilities
meetings. - Assists in purchase order processing.
- Reconciles all credit card purchases.
- Assists departments with
developing and maintaining individual budgets. - Assists with the renting, background checks, coordination of occupancy, monthly
accounting of rents paid, late notifications and billing of the same and notices of eviction. - Assists in annual income verification
and certification of section 8 tenants. - Maintains office supplies and manages office procedures.
- Contacts are with
individuals at all levels within the organization to exchange information. - Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety
practices are followed.
Other Functions:
- Performs similar or related work as required, directed or
as situation dictates. - Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends.
- Assists other
department staff as needed to promote a team effort.

office - Strong communication skills

Specialist Certification or equivalent, or five years of relevant experience in administrative duties and 2 years of on the job
experience.

Salary Range:
- $41,000-$45,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
