Position Information
This is a temporary non-benefited position based in Minot, ND.
Learn how to scout field crops for insect pests and diseases. Scout will survey wheat, barley, soybean and sunflower in the North Central Region of North Dakota. Field equipment, state vehicle and per diem are provided when traveling. Scout must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work independently. Salary will start at $20+ per hour depending on experience. Employment begins in late May and ends mid-August. Application deadline is April 15, 2026.
