Position
Summary
The Finance Manager for Campus Dining is a critical role responsible for overseeing the accounting, finance, and
business operations of the department. This position ensures financial stability, strategic planning, resource management, and compliance
within Campus Dining. The focus is to provide timely, accurate, effective, and efficient financial information to Campus Dinning management
and division leadership, to support the establishment and implementation of effective processes that build the foundation for successful
operations, and to recommend sound business practices and action.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day
business and finance operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general ledger for Campus
Dining. - Preparation of monthly financial statements, financial forecasts, and variance reporting in an accurate and timely
manner. - Ensure proper internal controls over cash receipts, accounts receivables, accounts payable and all financial
transactions. - Work closely with the director and Campus Dining leadership to manage operating budgets, using key metrics and
operational data to make informed business decisions. - Prepare monthly accruals and reconcile balance sheet accounts
monthly. - Prepare complex financial analysis related to Campus Dining operations as requested by leadership.
- Supervise
the finance team including preparing appraisals and performance management.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is
necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a
related field (Master’s preferred). - Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) desirable.
- 5+ years of progressive
experience in finance or business management, with supervisory responsibility. - Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting,
compliance, and resource management. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work
collaboratively across departments and with diverse stakeholders. - Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and
guide process improvements.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $80,000 to
$100,000 annually
Grade: GGS-011
University Title: Manager III Business Administration
