Front-End Developer (6 Month Contract)

user-centric? Canadian University Dubai is looking for a talented Web Development & Online Service Operations
Specialist to take full ownership of our web ecosystem-from design and development to operations and optimization.

In this
role, you’ll be at the heart of our digital presence, ensuring our websites are not only technically sound and secure, but also aligned with
branding, accessible to all users, and constantly evolving to meet our institutional goals.
Key Responsibilities:

• UI/UX
  Development & Branding (25%)

Build responsive, mobile-first interfaces using React/Next.js.

Ensure accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and alignment with brand guidelines.

• Content & Web Operations
  (20%)

Manage content updates and collaborate with internal teams for accuracy and relevance.

Ensure consistency
and operational reliability of all web pages.

• Performance & Monitoring (15%)

Optimize architecture and
load times (targeting 20-30% improvements).

Monitor uptime, response rates, and accessibility performance.

• Integrations & Deployment (15%)

Handle API integrations with systems like CRM, student portals, and
marketing automation.

Deploy via AWS/Azure CI/CD pipelines and maintain documentation.

• Cybersecurity & Risk (15%)

Implement proactive security controls and monitor for vulnerabilities.

Ensure compliance with digital security standards and reporting protocols.

• SEO, Analytics & Training
  (10%)

Execute technical SEO strategies, integrate analytics tools, and build dashboards.

Lead internal training
and create scalable documentation for continuity.
What You Bring:
Proven experience with React.js, Next.js, CI/CD
(AWS/Azure), and responsive UI development.

Strong understanding of SEO, accessibility,
and web performance optimization.

Experience managing API integrations, backups, and cybersecurity
monitoring.

Solid grasp of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and reporting tools.

Knowledge of risk management protocols and
modern web security practices.

A team mindset, clear communicator, and ability to juggle multiple projects.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a web development or
digital operations role.

Certifications in cloud platforms or security (e.g., AWS Certified, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
