The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 25lbs; occasionally moving objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting/standing at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions

Job Summary

The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is seeking a GIS Analyst to serve as the GIS specialist for the Office of State Archaeology and Museum of Anthropology. The individual is responsible for maintaining and updating OSA’s archaeological databases and GIS. This will include both network and web-based components. This person will also enter new data into the system and respond to request from our federal, state, tribal, and private partners for access to OSA’s archaeological data. Individual will also work with OSA and Museum staff to create digital education resources.
