Job Description:


UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking
an entry level Help Desk Analyst to join Academic Technology a unit within UFIT. This is an evening shift position scheduled 3
pm – 12 am Monday-Friday.

UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus
and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using
HiPerGator.


Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:

  • Provides excellent customer service via
    phone, email, ticket and chat.
  • Works assigned shifts in the UFIT Help Desk call center.
  • Provides technical assistance for
    complex IT issues to all UFIT constituents.
  • Evening shift scheduled 3pm to 12am Monday – Friday.

Expected Salary:



$19.16 – $20.00/ hr; commensurate based on education and experience.

Required Qualifications:


Associate’s degree; or
a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience.

requirement(s).



Preferred:

The ideal candidate will possess the following education, experience, and skills:


  • Prior
    call center or help desk experience
  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical
    issues by phone and email
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
