Job Summary and Description

Responsible for supervising a group of housekeepers in daily operations of routine manual work involving cleaning and housekeeping duties. Will perform as a working foreman; works alongside housekeeping employees and performs housekeeping tasks as required. May be required to move furniture and equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High School or GED.
• Sixty contact hours of housekeeping courses sanctioned by International Executive Housekeeping Association (IEHA), or Alamo Colleges approved. Must be able to read/understand labels.
• Four years’ of housekeeping services experience, to include two years of supervisory experience in the housekeeping field or equivalent combination.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Two years’ of Alamo Colleges approved housekeeping coursework.
• Five years’ experience.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License. Must be insurable through Alamo Colleges’ insurers.

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
