IT Support Specialist Associate (Day Shift)

Georgia State Law currently seeks applicants for the position of IT Support
Specialist Associate
. This position will support College of Law departments, centers, classrooms, event spaces, students, faculty
and staff with technology needs. This position will work Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 5:15 pm, with occasional weekend shifts to
provide support as needed
.

The scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to the following:


  • Support external and internal clients, students, faculty and staff with audiovisual needs for events and classrooms.

  • Troubleshoot and install computer hardware, software and peripherals.

  • Diagnoses, performing routine maintenance
    and mirror repairs to maintain audiovisual equipment.

  • Support help desk walk up, calls, emails and tickets.

  • Updating departmental documentation and perform other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements will include
standing/walking/bending/climbing ladders for extended periods of time, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications
:

Minimum Hiring Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:


Knowledge of computer maintenance, installation, and
troubleshooting equipment.

Knowledge and experience troubleshooting audiovisual technologies, equipment, and cabling.


Effective time management, customer service, analytical, and organizational skills.

Salary: $43,100 to $45,000
