University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking an exempt Associate Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Program
Coordinator. This position reports to the Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education and DIO. The MO GME TAC anchors a network of Missouri
Graduate Medical Education (GME) providers, Sponsoring Institutions (SI), and the public and private hospitals, clinics, and medical
practices hosting medical residencies in Missouri, and provides technical assistance promoting GME program expansion/sustenance to ensure
resident retention and a more robust physician workforce for rural and underserved communities. This grant-funded position, with anticipated
funding through May 31, 2028, is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Missouri Graduate Medical Education Technical
Assistance Center in cooperation with ATSU-KCOM leadership and GME personnel.
The Associate TAC Program Coordinator, along with the
Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Executive Director for the Department for Advancement of Osteopathic Education, serve as
staff to all post-graduate program development functions including research and data compilation; TAC communications and marketing
activities, training site development, advisory council and funder engagement; GME program and partnership development; educational
programming and professional development; and program-specific assistance including but not limited to coaching, advising, mock site visits,
and other capacity building assistance.
Applicants must reside in the state of Missouri; however, remote work arrangements may be
considered.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in
design, execution, and assessment of the TAC’s strategic priorities and action plans. - Build stakeholder relationships and
intra-organizational efficiencies. - Assist with the development, management and measurement of annual budget, business plans, SMART
goals and other proposals. - Develop data dashboards that guide the work of the TAC.
- Provide staff support for TAC
initiatives. - Provide quality professional development meetings and materials.
- Assist in the development and implementation
of newly accredited GME programs and osteopathic recognition programs. - Offer support to Associate Dean for Graduate Medical
Education and Executive Director for the Department for Advancement of Osteopathic Education.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Four year college degree required in business administration,
education or other healthcare related field. MBA or other relevant Master’s degree is desired - 3 – 5 years experience.
- Must
have prior experiences working in graduate medical education (GME) with ACGME accredited residency programs. - Must have knowledge of
ACGME requirements. - Must have prior experience in all aspects of management, small business operations, preferably healthcare
management, higher education, or similar business role. - Must have knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
- Must be
able to utilize Microsoft Office applications. - Experience with marketing and development of marketing materials is a
plus.
