JOB TITLE: Program Support Specialist (KEYS)
Part-Time 18 hours/week $
17.00/hour
REPORTS TO: Director – Special Populations
CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time Staff (Grant
Funded)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY:
Provides office and student support
for the KEYS department to promote successful program completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs general office duties such as data entry, filing, mailing, organizing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assists the KEYS Facilitator in preparing and maintaining KEYS student files and official student information.
- Achieves
the goals and objectives as outlined in the grant. - Assists the Facilitator in the collection of documentation for KEYS student data
reports. - Assists the KEYS Facilitator in the data entry and compilation of all reports required by the KEYS grant.
- Enrolls participants and conducts orientation sessions for new enrollees in Facilitator’s absence.
- Provides verification of
current college enrollment and a prior/current schedule to KEYS facilitator and DHS staff. - Maintains student lists and updates
monthly. - Maintains individual KEYS participant absence records and assists facilitator with appropriate student notifications.
- Assists KEYS students with their Services Plans; recommends adjustments to the Facilitator as needed.
- Assists
Facilitator in communication with County Assistance Caseworkers regarding student progress, when appropriate. - Collects program
information as needed for grant-related reports. - Performs other KEYS and departmental related duties as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Certificate in Office Technology/Business
Information Systems preferred.
Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
required.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Technical
- Working
knowledge of College policies and procedures. - Ability to operate a PC and related software.
Characteristics
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must maintain
effective working relationships with other people.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly
works in indoor conditions and regularly works near video display. The employee occasionally works in evenings or on weekends. The noise
level in the work environment is usually moderate.
