PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Reporting to the Director of Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning, the
Manager of Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning serves as the primary liaison between the CCCs Workforce Solutions team
and its network of existing employer partners, ensuring high-quality, sustainable opportunities for apprenticeship and other work-based
learning programs that benefit students enrolled in degree and non-degree programs district-wide.


The Manager of
Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning
is responsible for integrating employers criteria and job requirements for apprenticeships
and work-based learning programs with academic programs and curricula, with the goal of providing students with meaningful opportunities to
gain industry-relevant skills while offering employers a pipeline of talent that aligns with their workforce needs. Performs related duties
as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES


Relationship Management:

  • Maintains
    and strengthens partnerships with current employers across multiple industries; act as the key point of contact for all work-based learning
    collaboration.
  • Conducts regular employer check-ins to assess satisfaction, resolves issues, and identify future engagement
    opportunities.

Program Coordination:


  • Oversees the implementation of work-based learning activities
    tied to employer needs and student academic programs. Ensures alignment between job roles and learning outcomes.

Student Preparedness, Matching and Supports:

  • Collaborates with the Workforce Solutions Student Development
    Coordinator, college career services and advising teams and faculty to ensure recruitment of students and proper matching of students to
    employer opportunities based on qualifications, interest, and readiness.
  • Coordinates and oversees the delivery of professional
    development training, workshops and resources to enhance students technical and soft skills, support academic and career planning, and
    improve program success.
  • Monitors performance of apprenticeship and work-based learning programs, conferring on a regular basis with
    Workforce Solutions Student Development Coordinator, sponsors and CCC administrators and proactively mitigating issues.

Compliance & Documentation:


  • Ensures employer agreements, student learning plans, and outcome tracking are
    completed and maintained in compliance with college and regulatory policies.

Feedback & Evaluation:

  • Collects and analyzes employer and student feedback to inform program improvements.

Cross-Department
Collaboration:


  • Partners with academic departments, career services, and workforce development teams to advance
    integrated work-based learning strategies.
  • Promotes programs through outreach and recruitment efforts to expand student
    participation in work-based learning opportunities.
  • Performs related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration, Higher Education or a related field.
    Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in an academic or business environment,
    industry management, workforce development, or related area.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
    at the discretion of management.
  • Experience in partnership or portfolio management with the ability to initiate, develop, and
    sustain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management, from planning
    through execution.
  • Demonstrated experience stewarding and growing partnerships with business and civic organizations and higher
    education institutions.
  • Knowledge of theory and practices associated with work-based learning programming.
  • Demonstrated
    experience planning and implementing programs at community colleges highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal
    skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse
    environment.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 (Word,
    Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

$80,717 – $85,000

Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education,
knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as other factors such as internal equity.
