This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills,
knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined
based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay
range is not a promise of a particular wage.
Job Description Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports
marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and project management and other administrative processes to ensure timely, high-quality execution
of marketing and communication projects across Chapman’s Strategic Marketing and Communications department. The coordinator assists in
developing content, maintaining marketing platforms, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to promote the Chapman
brand, programs, events, and other institutional initiatives.
This position is in person in Orange, CA and the candidate will be
expected to be in the office 3-5 days a week and may occasionally require working evenings or weekends to support events, campaigns, and/or
project deadlines.
Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination
- Support the planning and
execution of marketing campaigns across digital, photo/video, print, and social channels. - Assist with content creation, editing, and
proofreading for web, email, video, social media, print, and other marketing materials. - Organize and maintain brand assets, images,
and marketing collateral. - Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure deliverables are completed on
time. - Collect and analyze marketing data (e.g., email engagement, website traffic, campaign performance) to inform
strategy.
Project Management
- Maintain and update the marketing project management tool (Asana) to track
progress and deadlines, serve as the primary contact for Asana support, and regularly optimize and upgrade the system to ensure it meets
team needs efficiently. - Act as a traffic manager by tracking all incoming partner requests, coordinating with leadership to assign
projects across the team, and providing timely communication and updates back to partners.
Administrative
Support
- Provide administrative support as needed including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and processing invoices,
among other tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication
skills. - Knowledge of marketing concepts, social media platforms, and digital communication tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to
manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Trello,
Basecamp).
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, data analytics
or related field. - Experience (internship, work-study, or project-based) in marketing, communications, or related
field. - Experience with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and/or social media scheduling
tools. - Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Ability to work collaboratively in
a team environment and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels. - Creative thinker with a proactive approach to
problem-solving.
