About the Job

Job Description:
The Department of Medicine is seeking a part-time Strategic Consultant to provide experienced, high-level administrative and strategic support. This role is designed for a retiring leader who will remain engaged in a limited, flexible capacity to support leadership continuity, complex problem-solving, and strategic initiatives.



Work schedule: no more than 14 hours per week


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:


  • Significant leadership experience at the University of Minnesota, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Strong judgment, credibility with leaders, and ability to advise on complex issues.
  • Demonstrated skill in mentorship, strategic planning, and navigating sensitive personnel situations.

Pay and Benefits



Pay Range: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
