(UMBC) Retriever Integrated Health is seeking Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner, a key member of Retriever Integrated Health
Services within the Division of Student Affairs, plays an essential role in advancing the mission to promote the health, well-being, and
safety of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) campus community. This position provides high-quality, evidence-based primary
care to UMBC’s approximately 14,000 students, as well as to faculty and staff. In addition to delivering direct patient care, the Nurse
Practitioner actively contributes to health education, health promotion initiatives, and continuous quality improvement efforts designed to
enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of campus health services.
Department:
Retriever Integrated Health (RIH) brings together UMBC’s Health Services and
Counseling Center in a collaborative, holistic approach to support student well-being and academic success. Our interdisciplinary team
includes compassionate administrative staff and skilled professionals from a wide range of fields—medicine, nursing, psychiatry, psychology,
counseling, social work, health education, dietetics, acupuncture, and massage therapy. Together, we provide comprehensive, student-centered
care designed to help the UMBC community thrive.

evidence-based primary care to UMBC’s approximately 14,000 students, as well as to faculty and staff.

Telework:
A hybrid telework schedule may be available.
Responsibilities:
- Independently
provide primary care in the college health setting to UMBC students, faculty and staff, including gynecology, sports medicine, routine
ambulatory and urgent care, within the defined scope of practice - Facilitate access to care and referrals as needed, assisting in
the development of campus-wide health initiatives, assisting other departments’ health processes - Participates in health education,
health promotion programs and quality improvement activities
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education Required:
- Master of Science in Nursing
Licensure/ Certification Required:
- Certified Registered Family, Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Current BLS/AED for health care providers
- Licensed RN in Maryland, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience Preferred:
- Two years in college health, ambulatory care or urgent care, gynecological
experience, procedural experience such as IUD/LARC insertion, wound repair, etc.

Salary:
Salary: $107,000 – $121,000 depending on
qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors,
including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and
certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable
estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
