JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS


Penn State York in partnership with the The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Penn State is seeking a part-time Education Support Coordinator

OLLI is a membership-based, volunteer-driven organization that provides educational, social, and travel experiences for mature adults. This vibrant, community-focused organization is seeking a Program Enrichment Coordinator (Education Program Support – Part Time) for our Penn State York location.



This part-time position (up to 24 hours per week) will provide support for OLLI courses and programming.

Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Classroom support
  • Communications with OLLI members and instructors
  • Scheduling
  • General office support utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will have the ability to shift duties or tasks quickly, remain comfortable and calm serving mature adults, and work independently on assigned tasks.

The schedule for this position is flexible and may change based on the course and event dates and times, though support is generally needed during OLLI’s typical programming times: Monday – Friday between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This position is primarily in-person with the possibility for online work, driven by the programming being offered. The actual schedule will be based on the successful candidate and OLLI’s needs.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
