JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing’s Center for Nursing Research is seeking a temporary Administrative Support professional to assist with financial reconciliation and related administrative tasks during a high-volume operational period. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and supporting efficient workflows within the Research Administration team.
Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile PCard, SAP, and travel expenses in accordance with University policies and procedures.

Review financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Organize, track, and maintain documentation required for financial reconciliation and audits.

Communicate professionally with faculty, staff, and students to obtain missing information or resolve discrepancies.

Provide general administrative and operational support to the College of Nursing Research Administration team as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with Penn State administrative and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Concur, PCard, SIMBA), or experience working in an academic research university environment with comparable systems.

Prior experience in financial reconciliation, research administration, or financial/administrative operations.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
