Photo SAS Videography

The BFA Photography program is seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated, and enthusiastic student to join our team supporting programmatic events. This person will be working closely with program leadership and the program administrator, supporting the program on the Visiting Artist lecture series.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Primary duties for this position include:

  • Attend and record Visiting Artist lectures in the BFA Photography program
  • Edit each recording
  • Export final and send it to the program directors

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience working with film equipment, audio and camcorders
  • Experience with photography
  • Experience working in events or lecture-style environments
  • Fluency using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, and managing video files
  • A capacity to work independently and be a self starter
  • Timely submission of work
  • Strong work ethic


WORK MODE

  • Hybrid – Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Employees in this role will also be expected to use their best judgment to be on campus when necessary in order to best fulfill the responsibilities of their job descriptions.


SALARY RANGE

5-10 hours a week at $21/hr, maximum 30 hours for the Spring semester.
