Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Player Development Assistant for the Academic Support Services department.


Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Supervises study hall for football student athletes.
  • Checks attendance of students in their classes.
  • Assigns to individual football student athletes, responsible for mentoring these students in their academic endeavors.


FLSA: Nonexempt


Salary Details



$29.87/hourly

Minimum Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience.

Certifications/Licenses

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle or other dependable means of transportation.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Coaching and/or playing at collegiate or high school level.
