Summary of Job Duties:
The primary role of this position is
in two areas: (1) performing research projects and (2) managing the laboratory. For the research, the candidate will actively participate in
the ongoing research projects in the lab in the area of Salmonella vaccine development and Salmonella functional genomics. For the lab
management, the candidate will handle routine ordering/purchasing of lab supplies and reagents, maintain lab equipment and records for
research resources (oligonucleotides and bacterial strains).

Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in a related field, plus three years of related professional experience, OR M.S. degree in a related
field - Lab experience in microbiology, organizing and managing skills, motivation, and interest in performing research projects in
Salmonella genomics and vaccine development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background experiences in microbiology,
molecular biology procedures, and bioinformatics
