This position will proactively collaborate with key UMSL stakeholders responsible for coordinating
external partnerships-including the Office of Research, Economic and Community Development, Corporate Relations, and the Advanced Workforce
Center-to lead, shape and execute strategies for engaging external partners. The goal is to drive progress in fundraising, non-credit
training programs, and broader financial and workforce development initiatives in a collaborative manner that supports university and
departmental priorities.
This position of Program Manager of Corporate Relations has the following responsibilities:
30%
Fundraising to secure minimum $65,000 annual contributions from Board companies and other donors. Help fundraise for the SC&A initiatives
and operations, including endowment.
20% Support the engagement with the SC&A Advisory Board, help build and maintain strong industry
relationships and engagement, including three Advisory Board meetings per year, , grow and expand opportunities with companies and
corporations, and recruit new board members.
20% Organize the annual SC&A Applied Research Symposium and assist corporate relations
related to corporate-funded research projects.
10% Facilitate and coordinate SC&A experiential learning courses, including but not
limited to practicum and independent studies.
20% Teach (1) three-credit-hour classes in the Fall and one (1) three-credit-hour class
in the Spring as needed by the SC&A Department

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or an
equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be
acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- A terminal degree in business or related areas.
- Five
years or more of experience working with corporations in the St. Louis region.

Range
Salary Range: $45,000 to $50,000
Grade: GGS- 011
